PBPrisoner's Buddy

Terms of Service and No-Refund Policy

Version 2026-11-05. Last updated November 5, 2026.

All sales are final. Credits are not refundable, for any reason, once you buy them. Credits are added to the account the moment your payment goes through. That is the delivery of what you bought.

These terms are an agreement between you and T Low Development ("we", "us"), which runs Prisoner's Buddy (the "Service"). By buying credits, making an account, or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't buy credits or use the Service.

1. Who this applies to

2. What you are buying

You are buying prepaid credits for time on an automated phone service. Calls are billed at the rate posted on this website, currently 15 cents per minute, charged at the start of every minute. Credits are added to the account right away when the payment completes. Phone charges from the facility or its phone company are separate and are not ours.

3. No refunds

Every purchase is final. We do not give refunds, partial refunds, money back to your card or PayPal, or cash for any reason, including:

Credits have no cash value. They can't be withdrawn, sold or exchanged. If credits ever end up on the wrong account, we may choose to move any unused credits for you. That is not a refund and we don't promise it.

4. Chargebacks and payment disputes

By paying, you agree not to open a dispute, claim or chargeback with PayPal, your bank or your card company for credits that were delivered as described here. Before you buy, you confirm the account and check a box saying all credits are non-refundable and that you agree to these terms. We keep a record of every purchase: what you typed, the exact line you checked, the version of these terms, the time, your IP address, the PayPal transaction ID, and the calls that used the credits.

If you open a dispute or chargeback:

If you believe someone used your card or PayPal without permission, contact us first at tlowdevelopment@gmail.com.

5. Accounts and passcodes

Each account has one sponsor login (an email and password), and each email can have one account. Keep your password private. The caller's starting passcode is shown once when the account is made. The caller picks their own passcode on the first call, and we can't show it to anyone. A sponsor can reset it to a new random passcode from My Account. After too many wrong passcodes or passwords, the account or login is locked for a while. Anything done after someone signs in with the right information is treated as done by the account holder.

6. What the Service is, and what it isn't

7. Facility rules

Facilities and the laws where they are can limit what people in custody may do. Following the facility's rules is the caller's responsibility. We are not responsible for any discipline or other result from using the Service, and a facility limiting or blocking the Service is not a reason for a refund.

8. Rules for using the Service

Don't use the Service to threaten or harass anyone, to plan or help with a crime, or to break the law or facility rules. We may suspend or close an account that does, without notice, and any balance is forfeited.

9. Closing accounts

We may close an account that breaks these terms. Accounts with no calls for 3 years may be closed. Any unused balance is forfeited when an account is closed.

10. Privacy

We keep what the Service needs to run and to protect against fraud: the sponsor's email and a scrambled copy of their password, the caller's name, account balance and usage, purchase records (including IP addresses), and call transcripts and logs. We use outside companies to run the Service, including PayPal for payments and providers for phone service, speech recognition, AI answers and voice. We never sell your information. We share it only when the law requires, or as proof in a payment dispute.

11. No warranty and limit of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or accurate. As far as the law allows, our total liability for anything related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

12. Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new version here. Each purchase is covered by the version in place when you made it. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new version.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
